@da2020, that looks great! The reason I didn't want people to use blood effects is because I wanted the contestants to try their best to make it look scary or suspenseful without blood or gore I notice a dogman corpse and a hanging corpse in your shot, but they'll be fine

I can't help it.I watched the new Resident Evil and I'm thinking all these plots with zombies for no reason.

Playing Left for Dead doesn't help either lol

Scaled up the ol' Dante, huh? Pretty neat

The official deadline is October 2nd (a Saturday). It would've been Sept. 25th, but I'm pretty busy that day so it got moved back. Remember to post your final shots on the pwp-G Forums, otherwise all images you post here will be considered WIP.

I'm on my phone right now, so I can't save images and upload them to my forums. There is an edit button, except it's called 'Modify' Or you can double post, I honestly don't mind that.

Actually, film grain shader made the color thing. I just brightened it to fit better into theme. Just setted grains so you can't see them. Only color change. And that's not big deal.
Sine shaders were allowed.

I was going to be mean and not judge all 'final' images in this thread and only judge the finals in my site's thread, but then I decided that it'd be selfish for me to do that, so I'll consider your latest post (or your final on my thread if you have one) as the final image.

The contestants' ratings:

hexy123:

-Theme Relativity > 50/50
-Lighting > 18/20
-Overall Feel > 14/15
-Design/Environment Structure > 2/5
-Use of Media > 3/5
-Use of in-game effects > 0/5

>> Total: 87/100 points <<

Notes: hexy123, being the first to post your final image, you essentially set a nice guideline/example for all other entrants. Yet the lack of in-game effects was a slight letdown and the structure could be improved.

===============================

DarkJames:

-Theme Rel. > 40/50
-Lighting > 15/20
-Overall Feel > 14/15
-Design/Enviro. Structure > 4/5
-Use of Media > 5/5
-Use of in-game effects > 5/5

>> Total: 83/100 points <<

Notes: DarkJames, the effect on the zombie was quite a nice touch. Yet it wasn't emerging completely from darkness and the lighting seemed unlike your past work and was a tad disappointing.

===============================

Gencheff:

-Theme Rel. > 47/50
-Lighting > 18/20
-Overall Feel > 12/15
-Design/Enviro. Structure > 2/5
-Use of Media > 4/5
-Use of in-game effects > 2/5

>> Total: 85/100 points <<

Notes: The use of the screen shader was nice, but it deducted from the feel and lighting. Also, the melee weapon made it seem less like a still action shot, yet more of an in-game shot.

===============================

da2020:

-Theme Rel. > 40/50
-Lighting > 14/20
-Overall Feel > 11/15
-Design/Enviro. Structure > 4/5
-Use of Media > 3/5
-Use of in-game effects > 1/5

>> Total: 73/100 points <<

Notes: Your environment design was good, yet the lighting could be improved.

===============================

Gorlocks Suggestions:

-Theme Rel. > 42/50
-Lighting > 10/20
-Overall Feel > 8/15
-Design/Enviro. Structure > 2/5
-Use of Media > 4/5
-Use of in-game effects > 0/5

>> Total: 66/100 points <<

Notes: Creative - the 'easter egg' was a little fun, yet environment design and lighting lacked severely.

===============================

vortech:

-Theme Rel. > 39/50
-Lighting > 15/20
-Overall Feel > 15/15
-Design/Enviro. Structure > 3/5
-Use of Media > 5/5
-Use of in-game effects > 5/5

>> Total: 82/100 points <<

Notes: The dante's stance was impressive, yet quite honestly I couldn't see much detail in the environment or tell whether the scene was rendered with an in-game effect in action or edited.

===============================

The 3rd place contestant is:

DarkJames - Congratulations! Your prizes from PWP will be sent in the near future. I will contact the other people donating prizes.

The 2nd place contestant is:

Gencheff - Kudos, your prizes will be sent soon.

And finally, the 1st place contestant of the first PWP-Games Competition is:

hexy123 - Excellent work, congrats. Your prizes will be sent, and I will create a trophy signature for you to brandish.

Congratulations to all other contestants who scored nice points, and good luck in the next compo - it will start on October 16 and end on November 6.

Oh well,now I know what to improve in my game atleast

Congrats Hexy123!

By the way,I don't really need the prize , you can give it to hexy123 , I just do it in the spirit of the competition.

To all winners, please e-mail me regarding the Mini Scifi pack and/or Scifi sign - some of you don't show your e-mail, so I would prefer it if all winners would just e-mail me instead. I haven't gotten in touch with the other donations yet.

My e-mail:

@hexy123, I will send you the link to your signature after you email me 2nd and 3rd place winners (Gencheff and DarkJames) will also get signatures.
