This is my main Char in my compo game.

Hello my name is Michael and i'm learning blender(very good program!)I spent about a month modeling this bot on and off(mostly on hahaha)I'm going to be modeling more bots and hoping to get a model pack going. The models will get better and better, I have many many many lol ideas for robots!

I try to stay as low poly as possible, todays GPUs could handle
allot of poly's, but I try to stay under what the new GPUs can handle.

I still need to model the Gun, it will be a nice big gun.
ow and im going to animate it(that will be fun!)

The next bot for show will be a flying bot. I plan on using
the British Harrier Plane for modeling ideas, I love that plane
and I must use its inspiration in my next bot!

Let me know if you like... Also if anyone would like, send me some images of ideas you'ed like to see in future bots and ill do my best to implement them into future bots so you can use in your games.

(rendered in blender using ambient occlusion)

I plane on putting this and other bots on the TGC Store.
So they will only be 400 points, so expect more cool bots!

I really love the model and the texture is good.

The only thing that bugs me is the mouth looks out of place (not anatomically but just out of place)

I know its kind of late and it would be a nuisance to you, but i think i nice low poly gas mask would look cool, maybe 10-20 polys on the mask. but its your character the sky is the limit

But i love it. Kind of seems like it would be Metroids' evil Ex.

ow the mouth is painted, something like the A-10(thats were I got the idea from)

with the models, if someone would like something custom cool, I dont mind to add it. yah a gas mask cool. The little army dude is to sit and control the bot from inside the head.

The up loader when I click on the 50mb up loader it dosent respond.
I was only able to upload one at a time.

How do you get that 50mb up loader to work?

I don't think it works like that anyway, you'd just upload them all to a folder in Tinypic and have multiple [img] tags in one post.


I'd love to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my bum.

Heres a video of the Rig for my Bot, it was complex... some angles are harder then others when it comes to rigging a Bot... thats way most bots you see will not have any extended 90 deg angles in them... but I found out how to get er done

Cross your eyes to were the left eye sees the right image and the right eye sees the left eye... and youll see it in 3d.

Depending how big you want the object to be in reality... so the closer the cameras the bigger in reality it will be the further then the smaller in reality it will be... I could make it look like a toy or a really big robot depending on the distance of the cameras...
play with it and you'll get the idea

This is another I made in blender...

I plan on using 3d images like this to show gamers my models so
that they may buy them, so they can get a real good look at the model before they buy.
