It's come to my attention that people can't seem to tell most of everything I type here isn't in a hostile manner. A few people seam to take something I say as agressive, even flammable or trollish. That is simple not the case. I'm been here the better part of a year now and I would asume that people would figure out that I'm not the type to say such things. However more new people are moving in here and it can't be expected that they should automaticly know that I don't use smilies or that I have a dry scene of humor.

To (hopefully) fix this I shall now only post stuff that is to be taken as hostile or to show I'm highly displeased with a subject inbetween two angry smillies. Example:

I hate sweet potatoes!

In the above one should asume that I hate sweet potatoes to the point of violence, much like Rake Yohn's (SKY, Jackass) hatred of mustard. If I was to simple said "I hate sweet potatoes!", it would just mean I think they taste bad.

I don't expect to use this to often but it's starting to bug me having to explain it to everyone who takes something the wrong way. I've included this in my profile so no one can claim igronace, also I'm not the passive-agressive type who likes to let people wonder if something I say is or isn't an insult, so don't expect me to used this just to confuse you. If I have something say that isn't pretty, I'm not gonna want to explain it.

Thank you for reading and remeber, this post isn't between two argry smilies.

Is sweat a liquid? It contains salt, and it doesn't smell until bacteria start to cultivate. Bacteria definitely isn't liquid. So which part is the sweat, and which isn't?

By the way

I hate sweat

well, I have seen sweat pool-up and drip off of people so I assume at some point it could be catagorized as a liquid (since it's main component is Water)

Aren't you guys kind of off-topic?

Arrow: I know what you mean, a lot of people seem to not be able to take anything without thinking its a flame at them or a snide remark. IMHO people should try to be a bit more tolerant, and ignore any real snide remarks as this takes away half the fun for the people making the remarks.

Cheers,

Megaton, you've seem to have some kinda grudge against me, what have I ever done to you? Please knock it off, it's getting really old. If you want to take everything I say as some offencive remark and think I'm out to get your goat, fine, but heep it to yourself. I can't wait for that ignore button.

I'm saddenly surprised that you guyes can amuse yourselfs so well with a spelling error, like you've never make a spelling or grammer mistake before.

It's two errors, not one. And they follow the same trend. So it is rather amusing.

and just for good-measure, some people here think Arrow is a guy but I believe I am correct when I state that Arrow is a girl (just so you all know-and act accordingly) Not that there is anything wrong with that fact!

@Arrow: If I am mistaken then I apologise and stand corrected. Also, when I fist started posting on these forums (recently-dbp) I found you to be somewhat of a "troller", posting for the sake of posting but not really helping with the original poster's problem - just my observation thus far. Maybe others here can back me up on this, or maybe not, it's just the vibe I had. You have calmed down lately tho, I will admit that. This is not intended to start a flame-war. If it was, you'd know it. Just stating MHO. Sorry if you don't agree.

Yes, Arrow does that most of the time CattleRustler. I wouldn't call that 'trolling' though. Trolling is being rude and causing trouble just for the sake of it-- posting off topic can be annoying, but it's a whole different-- and far less ghastly-- can of worms.

A) I'm a guy, I don't know how you came to the idea that I was a girl.
B) I used to be very active in the Team Requests board, but I've since grown tired of dealing with people who ask for advice an then get mad when you give it to them. Also my new job doesn't leave me with a whole lot of free time any more.

I work overnight at the local Wal-Mart stocking groceries. It's more work than you think, lifting heavy boxes all night long, cleaning up the day crews messes, it leaves you dead tired.

Oh, no worries about the gender deal, I just don't want to be hit on (aka the Randi post) . I don't care one way or the other really, such things doesn't matter on the net. Acctually I've often wondered about the real differance between the sexes and if such differances even exist, chalk it to my old job that left me with plenty of free time to think. I guess that indever into philosophy will have to wait untill I find a female willing to bare her soul to me or I'm reincarated into a female form and retain enough memory of this life to remember to note the differances. I'm not counting on either happening anytime soon.

[edit] @mouse, I assume that's ment for me, if you would do a wee bit of research (look at all the shiny button beneither my posts) you would know I'm 21. I quote has come to mind: "Simple things amuse simple minds". Really guyes, is this stuff really that funny or are you just trying to get me all riled up so you can turn me into your next Raven?

It wasn't funny, it was an asumption I made as you had refered to yourself in the past month as 'teenage' and I don't see 21 included in that bracket.

Maybe I'll do a wee bit of research into trivial matters if you do a wee bit of spellchecking . Both take precious time and can often be completely unneccesary...

I was refering to the smilies, and my web site has a full profile page. Personally I don't care if something is spelling incorrectly as long as it's readable and I figure out what they're saying. Spelling isn't my forte, but if you're gonna get all huffy over spelling you're in for a sressful life around here.

Just let Arrow go, stop picking on all his dumb little mistakes. We don't do the same to all you guys.

Besides, maybe I was a little late seeing it, maybe Arrow edited it, but it looks like "sweet" is spelled correctly in his first post...

Just my personal opinion.

oh, Arrow, I am disapointed in you now! Why did you edit Sweat to Sweet... that's just silly. It was funny and endearing, you pulled all the fun out of it now - no one was picking on you. You should edit it back.

'no one was picking on you'

Agreed. I think you're falling victim of what other people did to you Arrow, in that thinking you're picking on them when you're only joking.

Huh? I'm I the only one here that's confused by this statement?

I simply fixed a spelling error, if you want something to laugh at goto [href]www.laugh.com[/href]. If you simply want to mock me, better try to find something that isn't so hypocritical. Really, get a life.

How simple do I have to make it...

1- You said '...people can't seem to tell most of everything I type here isn't in a hostile manner'
2- You said '...if you're gonna get all huffy over spelling you're in for a sressful life around here.'
3- 'huff [huf] noun fit of anger: a brief mood of anger or resentment at something somebody has done'
4- You're falling victim to what you said other people think about you.

That plain enough?

Oh well, you obviously don't get it . If you want to believe you're being picked on, it's easy enough to find evidence of that. It's an amusingly hypocritical situation however... read your own first post

With that I depart. I don't think a lock is really neccessary, but then, I'm not a mod, and I presume that is for a reason .
