Its the ps4(pixel shader 4) version of parallax relief mapping(a normal map with a hight map in the alpha layer blended together.). So if you want this shader you would need Fps creator x10 to use this one, but there are shader that does that for Fps creator x9. check CoZ weapon shaders. here the link its the 4 post from the bottom. Pics are in the firt page

the post reads
CoZ's Shader Pack Setup:

V2.00

- All Shaders from CoZ.
- A Tutorial for how to apply shaders on segments.
- A Back-Up for the Window Fix.

Warning: (if you downloaded this one and only this dont mind this warning.) FIRST UNISTALL YOUR V1.00 SHADER PACKIF FPSC IS CLOSED, WHEN INSTALLING, UNISTALLING and INSTALLING WILL NOT CAUSE ANY HARM TO YOUR PATH IN YOUR FPSC MAPS.

THANK YOU

It loks cool. But I don't know, maby it looks too shiny in my eyes. Atleast on the EAI weapon... but that's just my opinion.

Sorry though it was this pic from the other post. didn't see the project blue 1.7 in the Conner I would like to know where to get that shader as well..

@Metal Devil123
I think it looks too shinny also but you can go into the shader with notepad and change the way specular strength is and make it less shinny. i just displayed it like that so people now what the default of that shader looks like.

I have gotten both fpscx9&10 to work with the weapon shader. but I rigged them in the correct way so the shader will work without any bugs. but the way this shader works it pulls the light from fpsc. just like the weapon shader 4.0 in fpscx10.

How did you go about doing that? I would really like to know so I could try and pull this off.

if you have fragmotion all you have to do is correct thew texture path.into a D2.dds and this is not coz shader.

Didn't say it was, looks better then his Relief Specular Weapon Shader IMO. I was only giving a alternate way of getting close to the ps4 shader from x10 before I realized that pic was show of a weapon shader in x9.

I was not saying you said its coz shader but dont want no one to think that as anyone can see the different between that shader and coz shader.

@michael x

Nice work. Which shader are you using on the weapon in X9 from the gallery pic?

If its not from the Coz pack, is this something you modified or a new shader?
