Well, its obviously hard if you've never programmed before. It will probably take a few months to a few years before you are capable of making a 3D game, if this sounds daunting, I suggest you quit.

<- That's the pep-talk gone, now for the answer

You can find tutorials here:

Well you got the first bit right - you asked a question here.

Unfortunately "help is needed here, PLZ." is not the most informative title. If you tried "any good DB tutorials" you might have got more replies.

My advice, once youve got your head around the basic commands and the simpler 3d commands find your self a simple game and try and make it in DB. If you get stuck, ask here for help, someone normally knows how to do whatever it is.

But do try and think things through first and dont post "how do I make a FF game/GTA/whatever. We wont do things for you but most people are happy to help.

I learnt everything I know from http://darkbasicpro.thegamecreators.com/?f=tutorials. That will teach you the basics, all the way up to making a full game.

Can I ask you a Question?
What is it?
It's an interrogative form of sentence, used to test knowledge. But that's not important right now.

Also, check out the tutorials at
.

In my experience, the best way to learn is to try everything. So first, try with making a simple program that reads your name and then greets you by name. Then, continue on to a bit of maths and from then on, try and make your first game like Pong or Space Invaders. Also try and have a look at all the examples that come with DBP.

I would be unstoppable if I could just get started...

help files & tutorials >>> read, read, read, read... and read some more. you'll come there eventually. doesn't have to take a year(or more) I learned how to use the basics of DB in a bit more then 3 month's.
