What I plan on doing is making a thread for customized death scripts, if it be a ragdoll fade away scipt "Thread here http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=174878&b=23" or a destroy and activate script for model pack 22's dante beast, or even a ragdoll script with destroy and activate!

I will set up some scripts I made for show and sending me a script to setup here is accepted and here's how to do so.

1.) Tell me what the script is.
2.) Give me the script either in :state=0,plaintext=1 or in a

3.)I'll test it or (and please...) make a screenshot or Screen Recodring of the script in action.
4.) NO! I'll not be downloading scripts all day if you submit so please set it up on this thread as directed.

Here is an example of a working script that Conjured Entertainment help me with (alot) in the format that you should submit as.

These were submit to me via a post on this thread. These wil most likely be edited (Say you have Model Pack AWESOME but the other user doesn't have it.) so it has to be edited for dummies. This script includes ragdoll so make this work without ragdoll for the people who want that.

Thanks to seth zero, I'll upadte the scripts for the blood splat death script. I'll also be adding a "fade away" version for people like me who don't like too many dead bodies jerking up the frame rate.

EDIT: I've made a generic bloodsplat hud for sethzeor's and will have it up in a few mintues!

I dunno how to make transparent textures, can someone help? This is related to something I'm doing in this thread

I understand, I'm not the kind of guy to reply to every thread I visit but really?

Let me guess... it's because I called this the "death" scripts instead of the "destroy" scripts thread.

I made a thread for stealthy scripts but I got no respond as well ,
Anyway don't give up , keep editing your thread and adding more scripts to it , The one who won't respond will at least be greatful .

Nice scripts man. Here is one for yea it's a remake of meteorite's bloodsplat.fpi(destroy). I just added ragdoll and made the spat fade quicker. And added a custom bond1 blood splat(took brute chainsaw bloodspaters(chainsplatter3 and chainsplatter4)and combined them together then darkened.)

I noticed that the bloodsplat didn't go as planned but I also liked that you've added a "your bloodsplat here" for reference.

if you mean you don't have a blood splat appear, all you have to do is two things.
1.make sure you have a bloodsplat.dds(does not have to be called bloodspat could be inksplot.dds)then have this path to (The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\gamecore\huds\(what ever your folder name is if you have another could just place it there)\bloodsplat.tga(make sure it called .tga here and not .dds in the script)
2. get up close and personal with the npc you want to kill and blood is on the screen.

No need man, But thanks. I have one its just that I made a custom bond1 blood splat(took brute chainsaw bloodspaters(chainsplatter3 and chainsplatter4)and combined them together then darkened. And that what I use. I didnt post it cause it in a model pack, but if you want to make one for everyone then go for it or if you dont have the time ill do it. Once I get home from school.

HOW TO MAKE THE BLOODSPLAT SCRIPT WORK!


To do this, you must do the following...

1.) Download the bloodsplat I've created from the 1st post of this page.

2.) Place this in the huds folder. Usually would be somewhere like. "C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\gamecore\huds\user"

3.) Unless you know how to script for FPSC, I just suggest you place the image their and don't change the script.

4.) Once you have everything in the appropeite folders. Pop up FPS Creator. You can setup a character to have blood sqirt on the player by changing the properties by right clicking a character.



5.) Near the Top right corner of that picture, you should see the "destroy" script there. I've changed the script to the "bloodsplat.fpi" (As I call it) and when you test the game, you should have the guy go sprit blood on you when dead.

you missed some thing in your script For bloodsplat no ragdoll.


:state=0:hudreset,hudx=50,hudy=50,hudimagefine=gamecore\huds\user\BloodSplat.dds,hudname=BloodSpat,hudhide=1,hudmake=display,state=1
:state=1,plrdistwithin=150:hudshow=BloodSpat,state=2
:state=1,plrdistfurther=100:state=4
:state=2:timerstart,state=3
:state=3,timergreater=185:hudfadeout=BloodSpat,suspend,coloff

you need to add this to the next line.
:state=4:suspend,coloff



or something happens I forget what though I think they just freeze in place(only if your far away though the part when your not close and kill the npc.)

And if you dont like the way the blood splat fades away you can change the script to this
:state=3,timergreater=320:hudunshow=BloodSpat,suspend,coloff and it will just disipear off the hud.

and heres a pic of what it looks like when you kill them(blood spat part.).
