I have another problem with Cave Demon.
In editor i see all the textures of this entity, but in game preview its black. I treid to remove default effect and find correct texture. Changing texture to entitybank\purchased\Kasseyus\Characters\Beast\Cave Demon_D2.dds doesn't help.

Where could be a problem?

Now I noticed that after building my game (.exe) textures are OK, but demon isn't moving and attacking (no AI).

Any ideas what could cause those problems?

The black texture in game seems to be a typical V1.17+ problem\bug. I don't think theres a fix for it atm. But it will be soon.

Try turning "full shader effects" Off. Or delete your .bin and .dbo files.

Try manually coping the scripts to the bulidt game. If that doesn't work then it might be another V1.17+ problem\bug.

If that doesn't help then im sorry.

Hope that works good luck!

Figured out the AI script problem (extension was .Fpi, and should be .fpi).
But the texture problem remains... well i think it'll be fixed in next FPSC version.

Remove the .fx that is applied to the character. Test, if it's the same, apply another .fx or something, I still use 1.17 final myself and this is a common issue that I have to constantly fight with, v1.18a is no better..come to think of it, I couldn't get anything done in it because of constant crashes.

Yeah, I did notice that, read my post....he needs to mess with the shaders to correct the problem, Nuff said, I've dealt with this crap issue enough to know. If it's blackened out, then add one! if that doesn't work...try another!

Or just add dynamic light to scene
Dynamic lights are mainly for dynamic objects so...

Check for pure horror.

So static lights doesn't work on dynamic entities? Sounds weird...

Like I said, this problem is gone in build (.exe) version of my game, so it's not so important (i can test my game wiht enemies without textures - that doesn't influence gameplay).
