I've seen some screen shots that look like that the lights are cones, not just a radius of light, how do I do this?

we can't stop here! this is bat country!

You mean spot lights, that's a pretty bad example although I think they might have patched it (I'm using V1.16), but I used to be able to do this buy putting a cylinder with one open top, making it completely transparent and adding light on the inside. There's screenshots somewhere around here.

Edit: look the light is still on the all behind the flashlight

Just now noticed that, thanks for giving me the correct term for it, I just searched for light cones and nothing useful turned up.

Edit: when I search for "spot light" it only comes up for DBpro, does this mean I can't use it in FPSC

FPSC doesn't have spot, directional or Hemi lights, only point lights...

Turning on full lightmapping kills the invisible light cone, but shadows look even worse in FPSC without it...

A broad mind lacks focus.

For light streams and the like you could search for LiteZ or LightFX
