Looks like there is a really useful Matrix creation tool at the nuclearglory site.
The freeware code in in DB. Anyone have what it takes to convert it to DBpro?

You can see the Matrix Molder at:

I got half way through the conversion and found that a new ground up app is being made already. So no need to convert.

Hey Guyon,

Yes, the new version is on the way. For creation pleasure, it includes 2 help menus, statistics, and commands to interactively modify/reset the terrain and matrix. Now you quickly get the results you desire! (No need to reset the app)

What's cooler? It's made on top of a super cool ray to mesh collision DLL. Rewards come in both accuracy and speed.

All of the above will remain free. And Matrix Molder will remain open source. It includes nifty functions that may benefit in other ventures as well.

A ray to matrix collision example is in progress, and everyone instantly finds the impact point of a bullet to a matrix, a lazer beam roaming across a molded landscape, or anything else you dream of using it for.

It's all for DBPro!

Thanks for the post Guyon. I'll be letting you know when it's released. (Within the next few days)

Hey,

I'm going to implement the ray/mesh collision DLL as part of the new collision system. That'll keep things together and nicely organized. As well as make the new collision system vastly powerful.

So, it may take a little longer than a few days for the new matrix molder to come out. As I'll construct it on top of the new DLL.

By the way, the new matrix molder is almost completely finished. All it needs is help from the new collision system.

So they'll be coming out together

I'll keep ya posted
