Hi,

I installed FPSC on my computer and upgraded it to v1.17.
But when I run FPSC this message comes up:

FPSC Cannot write files to *something* folder.
Make sure you have UAC turned OFF (Which I do) and you are running as administrator. (I am).
Then the error screen thing comes up.

Any help,
Thanks.

Specs:

Windows 7 Home Premium
4GB RAM
nVIDIA GTX 260M
Intel Core i5 2.27Ghz 4 CPU
DirectX 11

If you can see the enemy, they can see you.

You need to turn the UAC off, start up tsk man (Ctrl+Alt+Del then the start tsk man button) then click on file -> New task and enter msconfig.exe into then click disable. Restart your PC and try launching FPSC again.

Windows 7, Amd Athlon 7750 Black Editon (64 bit,3ghz + Dual Core), ATI Readon HD 4870 1gb Edition, 4gb Ram.

Rather than disabling UAC you can either run the application as administrator (right-click the icon and you'll see an option for it) or alter the folder permissions to allow all access for all users.
