Hi. Last time I used Fps Creeator was about two years ago and when I saw the website was still going strong. I decided to have a look. So many new model packs available and the v1.17 update. So I installed FPSC, fixed some directx and uac issues. Ugh. Built a quick test level with every under preferences set to high. Full lightmapping, fullshader effects. And when I say the result I was like. Wow. This product has come a long way. Most of the bugs are gone. There was a minor problem however, with full shader effects on, the graphics were slightly messy and jumbled and there were a few weird lines on the floor surface. Reverted back to v1.16 and the problem was gone. The test level was clean with full working light reflections on the surface floor and walls.
So this has been a long post, but my question, is anybody having problems with v1.17 or is just my graphics hardware.
Thanks for reading.

Well interesting enough most of the problems were solved by completely disabling the UAC in Windows 7 and setting post processiong from 1 to 0 under the setup.ini file.
I now have another problem when adding certain weapon based entities I get weird rendered lines on the floor. Lol, maybe I should try fpsc x10.
