Hi all

Sorry to ask so many questions of late but I've been away from the community for a couple of years and I'm trying to catch back up with developments.

My current question is has anyone written a plugin or other useful tool to help one open MS Excel files in DBPro? I'm looking for a way of opening Excel files, extracting data and indeed saving data back into an Excel file.

Cheers

Philip

The Enhancement pack apparently provides commands for accessing Excel and CSV files - I have no idea how well they work.

For my own use, I added my own File I/O plug-in (provides a comprehensive set of commands/functions for accessing file content), and added an Excel compatible SPLIT CSV STRING command to my string plug-in (all of which works just as well with OpenOffice-calc that I now use).
