Hi all

I recall that DBPro used to struggle a bit when it tried to load up *.x models with multi-textures. I've encountered that with a model I'm mucking about with.

From memory I've tried all the usual problems - I've used set normalization on in case the normals have gone squiffy. I've also told the object to be affected by light (set object light) and I've also checked and ensured that all the texture files at in the same directory as the *.x model itself.

Anything else I ought to check? I can post the model and the texture files if anyone thinks it would help.

Cheers

Philip

I've looked at a few problems like this. Email the model and texture files to me if you like and I'll check it for you.

@Philip

Here's an example I just made with multiple textures. All works fine. Do you still have problems loading multiple textured .x objects? What is the problem exactly?

Cheers

Looks like the issue here is that the polygon count in my model is far too large. DBPro seems not to like *.x models with polgyon counts in the 5 figures.
