Hi,
At present we can pick up/drop objects using mouse buttons, so why can we not have a weapon that when pointed at an object (not far away, but close pickup as we currently have) and press the right mouse button to animate the gun and pickup the object?????

Could this work?????

I'm not sure as the G Gun was a hard coded part of the source engine (All the valve games have the G Gun code in) and FPSC would probally need the same done as you can't really code scripts for weapons.

Phys gun in Gmod may be more possible though.

I will have to leave the rest of this to the rest of the community to say cause I don't really know too much atm

Windows 7, Amd Athlon 7750 Black Editon (64 bit,3ghz + Dual Core), ATI Readon HD 4870 1gb Edition, 4gb Ram.

If you own Project Blue I'm sure that a weapon script could be made for it

I remember Plystire doing it in a video using Ply's Mod, so it should be possible with Project Blue.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hevkSh0OxxQ&feature=related Around 0:43 there is a force pull sort of script. I think this is somewhat related to what you are trying to do.
