hey guys and gals
i added a "sitting in a chair and wiggeling" animation to one of my characters using the stock skeleton with stock animations to replace the stock idle animation. the sitting animation plays fine in FPSC.

when i load the model it loads in the default standing position like all characters do. when i test the game the character "in idle" is sitting down just like i want it to, but when i place a chair in the same square as the character the character floats above the chair.

i am NOT pressing the enter button to stack the models. how do i get the character to sit on one of the stock WW2 chairs?

first thing is first you need to animate her sitting in a chair, then you need to export her with the chair all in one modle. make her sitting animation her only animation or you can make it the last one in the .bip file. I have done this many times and this is the best way.

not sure how to turn off the chair's collision. i right clicked on the chair and changed the appear1 script to appear-no collision script and the chair still has collision. sorry to bug you for more details but i need a little more help

In the chairs script add "Colloff" command... If that doesnt work, then something is wrong...

P.S: Do you have the chair set to dynamic?? Sometimes the most small things make a big difference
