A couple of years ago, back when I was last really active in the community, I used to use a plugin that used the command "debug log" to send a string to a debug file. I used that for debugging purposes (as the DBPro debugger is a bugger to use).

Anyway, I had a nasty accident with my computer while I was away from the community and I lost all of my plugins. I have since repopulated all the TGC official plugins but I cannot find the debug log plugin. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and can point me in the right direction?

I also have equivalent commands in my plug-ins that allow you to write formatted data to log files or even communicate with a debugger (such as the free DebugView)

I'm applying terms of use that require you to wear a red nose and honk a horn whenever you use the Internet

@Bergice - yes, that's the one.

@IanM - I see that you are still in your secret moon base!

I've decided that I am actually going to read all the commands in all your plugins. I took a look at them back in '03 and '04 but I admit, to my embarrassment, not looking at them in great detail. I shall hit myself with a large stick for this shocking lapse.

Incidentally, is Nick Kingsley aka TAToad and The Coding Area and various other names still in the community? I haven't seen his posts.

It really needs to be a big stick... IanMs Matrix 1 Utilities Plugin is a must-have for Darkbasic Pro. I especially love the database commands and string manipulation commands.

Edit I think DBPro needs some stick manipulation commands.

The epitome of the excellent command for me is "make object teapot" in Cloggy's D3Dfunc plugin.
