Hello!

In an effort to improve my media/asset creation skills I have decided to tackle character creation - probably one of the hardest aspects due to our natural familiarity with the human form.

If the link works, then below is a screenshot of the current work in progress and the download is the character itself - should work fine if dropped directly into the entitybank folder.

As you can see - its not the greatest model ever to grace the screen. The texture is just a place-holder for now of flat colours to give definition... my current issue and the main reason for this post is to garner feedback, critique and direction on how to improve.

The shoulders gave me the most trouble and they still look wrong.. the hips/legs are OK for now but I`ll probably come back to them once I`ve got his upper body looking better.

If any modellers here could suggest ways to improve/advance or provide links to tutorials that helped them I would be most appreciative.

Naturally as I improve, so will this guy and he is a free model to use any way you like - in all his future stages of improvement. (Hes not much at the moment, but hopefully he will be game quality at the end of my road)

Ohh.. and I have of course looked for tutorials and the like myself through Google, YouTube, e.t.c and found a few interesting pieces - but there are so many out there I thought it would be advantageous to see what helped other people and save myself considerable hours of searching through haystacks. (figuratively)

I`ve attached a small video clip of the wireframe mesh in a walking loop, with focus on the upper torso.

Also a few screenshots of the mesh from various angles.

EDIT : Entire Mesh Wireframe(Various Angles) (EDIT:Resized)

There is a definite lack of definition here.. I`m missing something very important.
