How can I get my game to draw an image slowly replacing a mildly different image beneath it? I don't want to fade it, but rather have it draw a few rows of pixels at a time, without scaling. How can I accomplish this?

Use a sprite and the 'dbSizeSprite' function, along with 'dbSetSpriteTextureCoordinates' to counter the distortion. Let's say you wanted to fade the image from the bottom, when the fading the overlaid image you would set the vertical size to: 'imageHeight*fade', and the bottom two vertex Vs(U remains the same) to 'fade', where fade is a value between 0..1.
