Okay my singing really leaves a lot to be desired, because I am monotone.
So, I will spare you the horrendous track that I recorded of me singing this.
Here are the lyrics I wrote for this song, but remember that I slowed it down first so it would sound more like a ballad.
“In our dreams” by Conjured Entertainment: October 14, 2010. (In memory of Heltor ~RIP~)
I leave all my worries now, as I turn towards the sun.
It’s my destiny somehow; my journey’s just begun.
I fly past the Moon so fast, it barely caught my eye.
Then I hear its whispering voice gently say goodbye.
Then I see a shooting star race across the sky.
So I grab hold of it, and take it for a ride.
But the star is way too fast, and I can barely see…
…the wonder and the beauty of the things ahead of me.
So I let go of the star; reclaim my destiny.
Once again I’m flying high in heavenly glory.
The future’s just a theory, and the past a memory.
The permanence of now somehow seems like a mystery.
Then I hear a stranger’s voice as clear as it could be.
“When we have seized the day, we’ve seized infinity.”
Then I think about the star, and wonder what would be.
Had I not grabbed hold of it, would the voice have spoke to me?
But it doesn’t matter now; it’s just a memory.
The future’s all that I can change, and it’s all up to me.
Now I’m going to seize today, so I must be on my way.
But before I fly too far, there’s something I must say.
Don’t forget to live your dreams, and dream a dream for me.
It’s only in our dreams that we compose reality, the way it should be…
…you here with me...
…together, in our dreams...
…forever, in our dreams.
