I've noticed there was a block animation on some of my FPSC weapons and I was curious on how it works?

Does it decrease damage by a set value? Stop damage completely? Why is it there?

I'm guessing it's probably a template for when the newer updates come out but I want to know. What is it's purpose for now?

Yes they work fine, you just have to script your own damage reduction using the plrblocking = X fpi command to check when the player blocks.

I also noticed that hockeykid didn't put the airmod melee into the migration updates, either did Lee.

Nbt: Where do I put the "plrblocking=" in what script? Or is it an airmod thing like "simplezoom="?

E.A.I: AWESOME WEAPONS! *cough* *cough* sorry. Anyway, does melee work like the way 'plrblocking=' is activated?

Thanks for the input everybody. This help alot.

The blocking AO's work but it does not reduce damage.

Does anyone have a complete list of the additions to the FPI?
Or, a revised FPI list that includes both the ones prior and the new ones? (full current stock FPI list)

I have no clue as to what is in there except bits and pieces in threads here and there.
So, I was just wondering if there was an existing list and I was overlooking it or something.

The "plrblocking=" goes into your enemy AI script. It is used as a condition to determine if the player is currently blocking or not. Other than that, all you need is knowledge on how to script and it should become obvious how to utilize it.

I thought you put it in the airmod settings of the weapon. (I think this would be sorta better, I say 'sorta' because if I'm protecting myself from a midget apple and/or a bulldozer, you can figure out the result.)
