Hey there Community!

Over the past days, I've drawn the idea to create kind of a news website, the FPSC Times. The idea is to have all the hot gaming and model updates on one site:

http://www.fpsc-times.bplaced.net/

It's still quite bare and new, graphics will be added later to make things look better. I think the site should be good enough to be updated every 1-2 days.

Feedback about whether you like it or not is very appreciated!!

Shweet!

The 2,000,000th TGC post was made in MY ww2 weapons thread!

(I should now be a TGC legend, right?)

I think the site is fine just the way it is. Definitely fits the mood and atmosphere for what he is trying to accomplish.

@ Dominik

Would we have permission to add your site to our weblinks section?

No I mean instead of having the default look (which is presenting the site wrong IMO) it should have a more classy look.

Cool, I'm very happy to see the site gets such a positive feedback!

@Zay
The site is extremely bare in graphics yet. The reason is I've had quite a few designs that were too complicated to be kept up-to-date without any effort (which is, I believe, the most important thing to keep it going). Anyway, I meant to say I'm not going to change the minimalistic layout, but if we're only talking about the graphics - sure, then let me see what's on your mind... finally, I want the site to belong to the community

@BlackFox
Yeah sure, no need to ask for permission. It's much appreciated!

I know what you mean. So far, it's surprisingly easy to keep the site updated. I know it's quite hard to always have the latest info, but there'll probably be a solutions for this

Any more oppinons or comments about this?

@vortech
Article about your game is online now. Thanks for letting me know

@Bootlicker
Yap, it looks quite good in my oppinion

If someone else wishes to tell me about a game to mention (as I simply can't be everywhere at the same time ), shooting me a mail will usually be the best way to do it. But posting it here will do it, too, anyway.

Oh, and if you want to do me a favour... make your screenies not larger than 800x600

Hey, love the site, very promising. Loved the post of my map as well,nice description and makes u want to play it.

An idea for post ideas on the latest news you could check Lee's twitter and the google source code and post some news from lees twitter and changes in the source code.

My name is Shakleford, Rusty Shakleford, I refuse to speak without my attorny present. I am Mr. Shaklefords attorny Rusty Shakleford, my client pleads insanity.

@Shakleford

Glad you liked it. Lee's tweet is already on the site

@anayar
Most images are taken directly from their source links, I usually do not re-upload them (only exception so far is when they are too large). So in order to keep the site available for updating in seconds, I'm afraid I can't do anything for you here

*bump*

I'm currently working on a re-launch with more features and better layout, including game reviews, insider info etc.

I got some helper from the german FPSC Board, and I'd like to ask whether some people from the TGC Board would also like to help to keep the website updated as authors?

You'd have to regularly check the TGC FPSC sections and when you find something of interest, you drop a short line into the times website here and there.

Someone willing to help?
