every time i try to load a fluid demo such as slime or water i get an error message that says

"attempt to create physX hardware scene when physX hardware not accessible"

what exactly does this mean?

my computer specs are:

processor: AMD sempron 140 processor
ram: 2gb
graphics: nvidia geforce 6150 se

have you updated Dark physX to 1.05?

Dark Physics makes any hot drink go cold.

yeah and it still says the same thing

also my graphics card is a: geforce 8400 gs 512mb 64bit

Hi,

i have a the same problem with PhysX.
The Demos in Projects/Dark Physics/Demos/PhysX give this Error:
"Attempt to create PhysX hardware scene when PhysX hardware not accessible"
All other Dark Physics Demos do work.
I have latest PhysX Drivers installed (9.10.0513) and latest GeForce Driver (258.96)

Why do the PhysX Demos not work?

My System:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 @ 2.5GHz
NVIDIDA GeForce 9800 GTX+
2 GB Ram
Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium

you may be getting this because the code is set to use the physX chip which you may not have on your graphics cards, if you do think you have it then it needs turning on.

to make them run if you do not have a physX chip you may need to change the code to run in software mode.

Dark Physics makes any hot drink go cold.
