I wouldn't mind a pdf making plugin... @Neuro Fuzzy were you just saying "Yes, anyone can create a dll to handle vector images?" or "Yes" as in you could make one?

I think Neuro Fuzzy meant "Yes, anyone can create a dll to handle vector images."

That's what I thought too but I thought it might be nice if @Neuro Fuzzy made it clear that it was sarcasm, particularly since @Guido Italy appeared not to pick up on it.

Also I was hoping it wasn't sarcasm...

Well, me too. But I researched only a little in this area, and it doesn't seem to be that easy. Such a plugin would have to provide at least support for .PDF and .SVG and especially PDF looks challenging.

Aside from reading and understanding a document, there's a much harder and time-consuming aspect of creating this plugin: rendering. Bezier curves, gradients, filling of arbitrary shapes, anti-aliasing, paths, curved text, filter effects, ... They're definitely not something DBP supports, and everything would have to be coded from scratch.
If any plugin could do this, it would certainly be worth money.

Cheers!

I think the real question would be "how long?". I think that if anyone wants to start on this, it'll have to be someone with a bit of time on his/her hands. And of course it also depends on how advanced that person would want to go. I think you'll easily be waiting a few months if I look at the time I take to code/debug a full plugin.
As for a price, I don't know. That's up to the creator I guess.

I'm sorry if you misunderstood, but I never intended to create the plugin. I create plugins as a hobby when I feel like it, not on demand.
Sorry.
