i have created a map in 3d world studio and exported it to the myscenes folder in the dark lights demo as a dbo.

i followed the instructions it gave me to lightmap a dbo in the lightmapper exe but everytime i try to lightmap my map i just get this error message

"object contains more than 21844 polygons, this is likely to crash"

and of course it crashes so i was wondering how would i go about fixing this

Don't have more than 21844 polygons in your object?

yea i figured that, my object has about 90000 polygons
so yea.

but i dont know how else im supposed to light a whole level under 21844 polygons, thats a seriously low amount for a whole map.

it is just the lightmapper exe that does this or does the whole program of dark lights do this?

You are using a demo version, you're probably limited to a number of polygons. That probably will not happen in the full version.
Try with a small level to check that.

Re-edit

Any way...as I remember, the demo let you export but with some error in the model (holes in the whole mesh).

cheers.

It's high enough for one map segment, and I assume you'll want to split the map up into segments unless you want to try to render the entire map all the time.
