Sometimes loaded x. models show up as wireframe or not at all in db pro.

In this case I made a gun and added it to the alien model and for some reason the gun does not show up in db pro. There is a tiny little line where the handle should be.

Does this problem sound familliar and is there a work-around?

It's a six-shooter. It's meant to be visible.

is it locked to the screen>?

Its probably more advisable to set up a cube and offset it off this with a limb placeholder.

cmon dude, this one line information posting does you or me no justice to solve the problem at hand.

I think it's some sort of 3ds max to x-conversion problem with db pro. sometimes objects turn into wireframes when I load them into db pro (and they work fine in db v1). It's not glued to anything it's just part of a model. I was just hoping it was something people have seen before.

I ended up re-doing the pistol and using a place holder limb (much like you describe)
