I bought Model Pack 21 via the web rather than via the GC Store. I am having some success with this and the models look great. I did contact TGC as I was having issues with the textures not loading for all models, but I just manually load this now as they suggested and that's all good.

I was also after a list of the animations for these models and they helpfully suggested looking in the relevant .fpe file at the animations section at the bottom, as this should list the various animation sections (though I won't know what does what without trying them).

However, looking at the orc_ranged.fpe it doesn't seem to match the animations for the .x model. For example the .fpe has a section that reads "anim61=0,19" yet this does not yield a smooth animation (even allowing for a zero or one based starting frame). I am almost certain the first complete animation (idle?) starts at frame 1 and is 29 frames long, at least that seamlessly loops for me within Fragmotion.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong if anything, or even better, provide me with a list of animations for the above pack? Otherwise I can continue to try and work them out in Fragmotion, but it's laborious and prone to error, as it's not always obvious where the animations split.

I would make a small animation test program, here's one I made for taking "photos" of my models... use +/- to edit the current animation frame

I've done a program that imports the .fpe file and lets you play each defined animation. I'm at work now, but I can post it when I get home tonight.

I also had some problems with that model pack, same as you describe, some load the textures automatically, some don't, and the animation ranges don't work very well in DBPro. Also, I could not get Enhanced Animations to work on most of those models at all.

But... the definition of what each animation range does is dependent on the designer of the animation. There is a document that lists what each range should do, but not every model will use those animations, i.e. an unarmed opponent won't use the "Crouched Reload Weapon " animation, etc.
