Im not 100 percent sure this is were this should go but since art is what I do I thought this would be the best place. (BTW reading the forum readme told me what I should not post not what I should post LOL ;-D )

Anywhoo... I just wanted to say hello and give you all high fives and maybe some day down the road I might hlp somone out or get banned! J/K...? Anyway if anyones interested heres some of my concept work and I even have some 3d stuff for everyone to look at... let me know what you think.

Thanks all for the warm welcome and the compliments! Hope to have some more work done soon to show! Unfortunately I dont have an "official" page for the project im working on as of yet but maybe soon Ill have something to show that kind of centeralizes every thing! Actuall yeah that is an sketch I did... im probably going to change it to a render of one of my project characters once im finished mapping them but for now I just kind of slapped that up...

HEY YOU GUYS!!!! lol i updated some stuff on you tube... but unfortunately my crap flash drive didnt like the video i posted and..... It loaded incomplete?? maybe youtube is to blame... i might try again tommarrow as there is a pic up on photobucket of a new character, his name is tundra. Hes an elephant looking creature with arrows and such sticking out of his back (Untextured so far) take a look.

Sorry Mr. Bill didnt see your reply... everything was done in blender on all of them except the textures, which were done in gimp. (Im an open source type of guy I guess. ) The obsidian character was done in blender 2.49 and tundra was done in 2.54 once the .x export issue gets worked out i plan on doing a 2.54 conversion of obsidian and maybe reworking some things on it. Soon to come: Im going to start working on some environment modeling (stages, props, etc.) and will hopefully share those soon.

Started more work on the obsidian character last night working on a color map for him... The normal map still isnt finished but i have enough to show so far... anyway here it is.

You're plenty welcome! By the way, it's Chris, I'm not sure if we established that earlier or not.

Anyhoo, a lot people here get cranky when someone double/triple posts, so be sure to use the Edit Post link at the lower left of each of your posts.

Also, I think links on this forum have some issues with special characters, like "%20". Perhaps if you renamed the album folder with an underscore or something and then put the url inside img tags like so:
, it might work.

Hopefully no ones mad lol... so far i think ive been pretty good....Since it doesnt seem that sigs update on old posts i kept posting to see if it worked... I promise anyway ill look at the snipet and see what i did wrong.
BTW everyone seems to be a lot nicer here then on other forums... Is this because I havent asked too many questions?? J/k Seems like some of the other unmetioned dev forums Ive been on have some real pricks. Ill keep the multi post thing in mind.

Anyhow yeah I knew it was you chris... in fact i found this place following your exporter thread when i was on a hunt for a half way working .x exporter.

Hmmm... well i went to add some new videos today and well... the school i work at... they decided to add youtube to thier black list... dirty. That just seems to make it more important that i get internet hooked up at my house.... anyway.... that sucks.

Edit... now its back off the black list.... funny... now i dont have my flash drive here to post lol.
