Okay I'll admit, my laptop is not great. 2gb ram, Windows 7 Home Premium and a terible intel 965 chipset and yeah I should probably buy a better system. But take a look at the attached image and help me with what could be wrong. I can piece in segment by segment with lighting and all of the shader effects turned on. When I added a standard entity like the generator or that explodable barrel, that's when the graphics went all funny. Is there a fix? Thanks.

For the sake of humanity,turn off shaders on that horrible integrated graphics card.

i have the same problem. your computer can't handle the shaders just like my PC. i know it sucks .

How did you get fpsc to run at

1360x768 everytime I change res it resets and when I make the setup.ini read only it crashes. please help me out here guys.

Yep the hard truth is an integrated graphics card is not going to be able to run shaders the way a dedicated graphics card can. Dedicated cards from Nvidia and ATI are MADE to handle this stuff. An integrated card is meant for watching movies, DVD's, Youtube videos, etc.

So you've got two options, turn off shader effects and just accept that you're not going to get all the eye candy. Or get a dedicated graphics card or a laptop with dedicated, discrete graphics.
