It sucks because you made it crap. Adding water and bloom to a game doesn't instantly make a game better, so no. X10 is not better.

I guessed, but small things like that are the key features of X10. It's the same program, it won't make your game better now that Bond1 is recreating X10's effects but better.

To be honest they are both good. It is not the engine that makes a good game, but you. It is easy to put a game together with X9 and X10, but to make a game interesting it requires you to think how a player moves from one point to another within your game.

I have a rule that I try to apply to every level I create. A player must beable to make it from point A to B, but never should they have it easy to do so.

For example not all levels have to have bad guys in it to make it interesting. Puzzle levels are sometimes the most interesting and rewarding. If you have played half life 1 you would have noticed alot of levels that didn't have bad guys, but were still fun to play.

If you buy X10 you get a free copy of X9, but without some of the media I believe.

Hope that helps.

I Suggest you to buy project blue or get fenix mod but you need to update FPSC into v1.16 and for project blue need to use v1.17

I said, they're both the exact same program. Same interface, same programming language.

Yes, X10 just has some 'special features' (For lack of a better phrase) like water, and bloom, which have been added to X9.

Using one engine or the other will not make your game better, it's how you use it, they both have the same interface.

...This is being asked alot lately...

If you're interested on what people think about the two engines then search for the threads like this (keep an eye out for the red [flamebait] tag).

Honestly, i really believe fpsc x9 is soo much better than x10. Much more help, ease and great for everyone. Honestly you could use both and depending on your ability, eiter would get you great results. Bt for me, FPSC x9.

TGC did not bring out DirectX10's true potential with FPSCX10. Lee and the gang are bringing out DirectX9's true potential. They've dropped all support for FPSCX10, so just stick with X9.

Some of x10 surpasses x9, but dark ai, water, Allys and graphic settings have all been added to x9, so in my opinion x9 is the go. But if you didn't own either you would get x9 with x10
