Can you give more detail about how it doesn't work? Maybe tell us step by step your export of the shader, to how you apply it to the entity. Then we can go from there.

My Aiko is invisible in-game, I've exported the shader in .FX format, then I placed it in my Effectbank.

I've applied the shader in the entity properties panel of the editor.

It's not enough to use Dark Shader, you have to edit the HLSL code of the shader to work with FPSC properly...

Hmm, sounds complicated (because I don't have any knowledge of the thing).

Where I can find information about that ?

Now I use Dark shader, place the exported FX file into the effectbank and apply it to the character like he does and works fine. I don't have to edit Anything in the HLSL code. I am using 1.18 Beta 3 with Project Blue (I don't know if that makes a difference in the process). RelMayer, what version are you using. If you would like send me your fx file and/or the project file and I can take a look at it and see if works on my end. My email link at the bottom should work. I have had some difficulty with characters turning invisible but that seems unrelated because some have shaders and some do not.

raymondlee306zz: Any chance of an in-game screenshot? I want to know how you were able to drop it in and get it to work as it would not for me.

I don't have dark shader, but is that shader meant to be a fullscreen shader, because it is in the fullscreen shader section?
Correct me if I am wrong...

good frame rates matter...

You correct, that is a full screen shader. Sorry I missed that. I was speaking about the standard shaders in dark shader. I personally have not tried a full screen shader yet as my laptop chugs too much while running them. Sorry for the mix up.

There is a cartoon object shader aswell, I think you need to use the fullscreen one aswell as the object one. The object shader provides data for the fullscreen shader.

My video memory is Intel Integrated graphics, 512mb with 10% of 4 gigs of ram dedicated to memory on windows 7. Problem is when your graphics are integrated you can pretty much cut it in half for all intents and purposes. This what I am experiencing and have been told. If I'm doing something wrong or am miss informed, Please let me know. I would be happy to be wrong on this one.

You are correct. That is my problem on the laptop, but I also runa desktop for full on testing. However I also would like my game to run on the "off the shelf" computers as well, so if it runs good on my laptop, then I think 98% of modern computers can run it as well. That's my hope anyway. I don't want people to have to run out and buy a $150 video card just to enjoy some game I made. I want them to enjoy the whole experience from the start. I don't feel everyone has a custom built pc for gaming or has the money right now to constantly upgrade hardware to the latest and greatest. I'm trying to work with what they've got, not what I've got. But if anyone has an idea on how to make this shader type a dynamic object shader that would sweet too.
