Hi,

I am trying to examine local variables within functions while running the code through the debugger, but am unable to find them; only the global variables seem to be visible. Nor can I seem to example the contents of any TYPE'd variables. Am I missing something?

Display them manually with the text command.

How does this get done? Is this through the command line in the debugger? I can't find any information on how this is used.

Any more details would be most welcome.

I think he means use the text command in your code to print the variable values to the screen, I've had to do this also to debug some issues, it's a terrible method but until the editor includes a true debugger it's sometimes necessary.

Look up IanM's console commands. You can output all your debug information to a separate window. You can also send it to a formatted log file too.

Thanks for that; I have just implemented the logging from Matrix1 to allow tracking. A decent debugger though would be very useful.
