Well, I created my own open door hud, saved it as a .dds, and replaced the original door open text with my door open text. I made the background true black because I was told that true black is transparent. What do I have to do in Photoshop to get the black box off the object. A picture is attached.

P.S: I know the map sucks, it's just a test map so I could get the picture.

Ok this is what you have to do:

- Make an alpha map in the channels called Alpha1
Here you need to make the text white ( visible ) and the rest
black ( invisible ). save it as a dxt5

That should do the job
