hi,

after making a principale character for my game i had this bug in 3rd view :

how can i fix it ??

...easily remedied:

1. Open character's .fpe file

2. Add the following line:

RAISEFACTOR = X

3. X = distance to raise entity. Negative (-) value lowers entity.


-Fine-tuning the raise factor will position the character's feet properly on the ground.

-Delete .dbo and .bin files, prior to using the model in the editor.

...I'm assuming that you're attempting to simulate RTS, and a third person view of the player.

NPCs in FPSC do not use the same collision and floor logic, as the player.

Whereas the player will fall to his death, should he step off a platform, NPCs will not typically
tred anywhere that there is not a floor tile.

I'm not sure how to implement a viable workaround, in this particular situation.
