Hello again!

i've seen a lot of games on youtube made by fpsc that have darknss effects, like in a room it's totaly black, i am making a fantasy rpg game and atm im in a catacomb thingy but, my catacomb is light as daylight, no scary at all lol

P.S im kinda noob at this atm. Sorry for dumb questions

ow btw.. if i make it dark like that, is there any torches or something i can use for small light?

Go into "build game" on the file menu, go to global script, then edit it and change ambience from 25 to something around 10, i assume 1 is pitch black.

or as a temporary measure, use the "> <" keys in test game mode to lower and brighten it. Again i assume one press of they key lowers the level by 1, so you can work out what is best to build your game as from that.

but osme games i've seen only have osme places dark, not whole map.. i don't want whole map to be dark, only my catacombs

you can do the ambience settings and add lights. You can adjust the light just right click the light and change the number 500 to something lower. Have fun
