This is the only maya to X file exporter I've found. http://www.chadvernon.com/blog/resources/cvxporter/ . But I can't get it to work. I tried for so many weeks without any progress so I gave upp. Now almost a year after I want to fight this "exporting beast problem" again.

So I'm thinking of using 3ds max instead, I got adviced that there is a full working exporter for 3ds max. I forgot the name of the exporter, but it's awesome the person says.

But the thing is that I bought so many dvd:s on how to do stuff in Maya. But I can't export anything from it to a "thegamecreator" program like FPSCreator.

I want to buy the other "thegamecreator" softwares, but I don't want to have the exporting problems again just because I'm using 3dsmax. So I have to learn Milkshape or something! That would totaly suck.

So what exporter do you use for your 3D program? And how much did does it cost?

Summary: I want to export to all thegamecreators applications without any problems(like darkgame studio, darkbasic proffesional, darkbasic, fps creator, fpscreator x10, dark gdk, the 3d gamemaker, x-quad editor, leadwerks game engine, pureGDK, realm crafter and smart packer pro. )
