Dont mean to be rude, but again, this is not new.
Personally I have created terrain full 40x40 grid size which does have
full collision for enemy AI. Click my profile and you find a few different threads going back over the last few years which have different types of terrain, even a few wich are just the same as this, only difference being I didn't use T.Ed.
I am not the only one to do these terrains either, people have being importing terrains exactly like this for a long time. I don't want to be mean with this and congrats on what you have done so far, but when folks claim a first I just think it should be correct and credit where it is due.
To be honest as far as I know the ONLY terrain to be created at present with full enemy AI collision is my own (in the past it has been done, though only shown in a video so not sure it was for real) . I have put a tremendous amount of work into getting terrain into FPSC and same as this tried single mesh entites to start.
40x40 full grid
Full enemy collision
Although the above screens show a terrain which is sliced only on the middle 20x20 grid for enemy collision I have also created and siced full 40x40 terrain mesh for enemy collision over entire grid.
These terrains are optimised low poly meshes to keep up the frame rate and are only 32000 poly's. They could be more than that for detail but FPSC prefers less especially for outdoor levels and you want to populate the scene as well. I can see that your mesh is way too high poly and correct me if I am wrong (I havent used the new Beta much) but from what I am seeing your fps is 10-13 with just one character.

You got lucky, with a mesh like that sometimes it works fine mostly it doesn't and some areas get funky.
