I am trying to get DirectShow output (using DLL) onto a box (eg billboard) as a character walks around it. My current attempt freezes DBP until the clip finishes. I am thinking this is a problem of window focus. Has anyone encountered this issue and is there a way to get around this problem?

Thanks in advance.

I am prototyping at the moment. There isn't much Darkbasic code. I have a basic scene in which I can navigate using keys with a do ... if inkey$() = ... looop. One of the keys call DLL functions to initiate the DirectShow stream. The DirectShow output then comes up as an independent window. As long as the video window is playing, I can no longer navigate.

That's the gist of the problem. I can upload the code (later) but there isn't much there.
