Thanks.

This is a "very low-res" clip I made as a sample to show TGC. It's not great, but gives you an idea of what the characters look like in action.

Congrats CP for having an official model pack. I'm glad you are now able to get some monetary pleasure out of your work. Lord knows you have had plenty of "good feeling" pleasure from giving away some great models.

I will be purchasing this soon.

I reject your reality and substitute my own!

Purchased... I love all of CP's work and use at least a couple of models in almost everything I make, he's been so generous with all his free models, how could anyone not support his first commercial pack! Good luck with this.

I love the look and theme of this pack!

It would be nice to see a smooth Fraps movie with the various characthers before deciding on buying though. Especially interesting to see their AI behavior and animations.

Scurvy Lobster: Hello friend, Here's a video of the custum melee animations that were used on characters that include various hand held weapons. (Which will be included in "Wastelander 2 weapons pack")

Hope this helps.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNEv1iufY3A

And many Thanks to those who have purchased, or plan to purchase the pack. I intend to use the money to purchase better software, to help me improve my entity, and character creation abilities. So you can expect better of me in the future.

As soon as the weapons pack is complete, It's back to the "FREE STUFF". I'll be cranking up the next Community Pack after the holidays.

The theme will be " Modern Warfare". ( For those who are curious).

Thanks again my friends!

(Special thanks go out to Starmind, Daniel Wright, Team Halo, and Conjured Entertainment for they're contributions, and for taking time for Beta testing.)

Yes. The fan blades spin as well, as they move around. So do the blades on the Carrier Bot Vehicle. The Hoverbot uses a basic roving gaurd script, but you can change that of coarse, to suit your needs.

I've been playing around with this pack, and generally it's very good and cash willing, I'll buy the weapons pack.

A few of comments if that's ok.

The some of the robots seem to squirt blood if shot, a spark would have been nice instead

The carrier bot wouldn't chase me, it just span randomly in circles, but I imagine that's just a scripting issue.

I know I asked this before on this thread and didn't get a reply. I would have been nice to have seen dark-voice enabled versions. It seems a little stupid for TGC to be releasing model packs for an engine which don't support all of it's features.

Lastly, I had expected a few more static entities based on the screen shots posted by TGC - but that'll be my fault for not reading the content.

On the plus side: I think the models are good, some of CP's best work so far. They'll certainly add nicely to anyone's collection for post-apocalypse games and I've already found uses for some of them. I'm a particular fan of the spider-bots which are very nice indeed. Generally, I can only recommend this and, and as I think I said in an earlier post, CP's been so generous in the past, it'd be rude not to support his commercial work.

I hope the negatives are taken as constructive criticism as I generally think this is great.

Best of luck with the pack sales.

Scene Commander: Thanks!

Please note: that the CarrierBot is a "vehicle". It was designed to follow waypoints or with the provided script, just fly around overhead on a transparent floor segment above the scene.

Check it out.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhXIHXtQs0Q

In the first part of the video, I'm using the people\passive script, so it will just sit and hover in place. The second part shows it flying around above using the provided script.

In hindsight, I probably shoud have included a small manual to expain the setup. Sorry.

Here's a better video of the Hoverbots in action:
