it's been a long long while since this program has been announced. work no it has since been restarted.
the current version out is V8 and V9 is on it's way.

i've created this thread to get it noticed as a full program. any future updates will be announced in the work in progress forum.
here's a description i done ages ago about it:
Dark Snippet is a tool to use with darkbasic and darkbasic professional. The short answer about what it does, it stores all your snippets.
The current features for Dark Snippet Pro are:
- ability to create snippet files.
- ability to load the dba file into the darkbasic professional editor and the editor will create a dbpro project file for you.
- auto-update if a new version is out.
- version checker.
- print the current snippet displayed.
- search function included.
- inbed user information into your snippets.
- media browser, load wav, mp3, jpg, bmp, 3ds and x.
- option to change the style of the way you view the snippets. e.g. bold, italic, underline.
The difference between Dark Snippet and Dark Snippet Pro is DS can be used for Darkbasic and DSP can be used with darkbasic professional.
The current features for Dark Snippet are:
- execute, make exe and make final your snippets
- uses the same design style to Dark Snippet Pro.
- ability to upload your snippets to a online share area.
- ability to download any snippets in the online shared area.
