Have you turned on "Full shader effect" in the settings?

I used the "Phong shader" on the AK-47 from Model Pack 5 and this happened (screenie attached). The AK texture with shaders is now applied on the hands... Any idea how I can prevent this from happening? Or should I just try to find another shader to use with weapons? If you have any idea, please answer.

The reason why shaders work well with the new stock weapons is becuase the hands and the weapon shares the same texturemap.
You could import the ak47 into a 3d software and put the hands and weapon onto the same texture.

But you would require more than basic knowledge of UV mapping and texturing.

@Nigezu

The reason for this is because MP5 acturly has the ak47 texture attached for the hands but FPSC somehow ignores this and uses the hand texture, if you open up the hud.x in any program that supports .x files then you can replace the ak47 texture with the hand texture.

Windows 7, Amd Athlon 7750 Black Editon (64 bit,3ghz + Dual Core), ATI Readon HD 4870 1gb Edition, 4gb Ram.

Ok, good to know. I'm afraid my UV mapping skills aren't good enough though. Thanks, anyway!
