Hello everyone! I have to say I'm rather upset, one of my best maps for the project I was working on will not open. In FPSC, I went to file and then open, and I wanted to change the name of a map, "You Rock My World," to "Core- club Martini part 1". I then saw the file disappear, and when I opened the map bank up again, it wasn't there. On Further investigation, I discovered that it was changed to filetype: File, and everytime I go to open it with FPSC, it crashes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much

make sure that you have the right file type (.fpm) for example: You Rock My World.FPI . the ".fpi" is very important or else fpsc whont recognize it.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestions, I tried the renaming the file in notepad, and that encountered an error. I'll try just plain renaming the file, thanks!

Ok, just tried it and...It worked! YES. This is another example of how professionally helpful everyone on this forum is. Thank you
