FPSC Classic Product Chat / Multi Player Bots?Possiable?

Ok those who played Unreal tournmament might remember in multi player you could have bots running around for you to kill. The bots could also kill you. Anyway to do this with FPSC? If so does anyone have script exsamples or something to share or purchase?

Hi old_school the answer to your question is no it is not possible with FPSC, without adding it to the source code.

No Bots or bad guys can't be added to a multiplayer game that use FPSC. If you try and add them they will show up on the main list of playable characters. The problem with the multiplayer games is that you can't uses the all the scripts that you can use in a single player game. In other words the scripts used to make a non playable character to work in a single player game don't work in a mulitplayer game. I hope that makes sense.

Yeah thats to bad. It would be epic if they released a mod for it to support the concept. Hell Id buy it.

I have a theory, haven't tried it tho, first you get the .x file of the character, animate it, then go through the procces of makeentityfromxfiles that lee provided us, instead of choosing character, choose object make sure to put in all the animations as if it was a charater, now the scripts,

Start: appear1

Main: Any main script used with a stock charater, but mix in ashooting scipt

Destroy: any script from the Destroy folder, like the script leavecorpse or fadecorpse

Answer back to tell us if the theory is true...

You can't do that because dynamic entities aren't synchronized between the players so if someone would kill the character,it would show as alive to other players.
