Is it just me, or is the FPSC Product Chat page being inundated recently with some really pointless posts. I know people need to ask questions, but I'm sick of reading the same question over and over again, often a couple of days apart - use search!

Half of the posts on this page are about ideas for project that'll never happen, if you've got an idea, try making it and posting it in WIP. Now my real pet hates on this page, bug reports, media requests and suggestions for added features. There are other pages for these!

If you've got media, which includes models, textures, shaders, sound effects, etc. Please post it on the media page.

Lastly, does anyone else think there needs to be an additional page for questions, ideally with stickies for the most common, as this page is becoming swammped.

I may be ranting a little, but it's becoming impossible to find things here, surely product chat should be about that. Products that add to FPSC, i.e. Offical updates, mods and applications.

*Rant over*

You do realise that you just posted a pretty much pointless post about people posting too many pointless posts?

Only pointless because people won't listen.

Trying to get past all the pointless threads to get to the really usefull, is a bit like wading through a swamp trying to get to dry land

I agree, it's what we are all thinking, but sadly there is nothing that can be done. We can't stop everyone being ignorant. It's the same on the W.I.P. board. It's hard enough to get ONE member to abide by the rules of posting, let alone every member.

Thank God for the search function.

This board is for general posting that does not fit in elsewhere.

Mods can in fact do something about whats posted in any of the boards if they choose to do so.

We dont need another board.

It was not me who locked this by the way but I would have done so if I had not gotten beaten to it.
