Hi everyone! Im new to DB and am kinda confused...
I read the help file (and noticed it was a little out-of-date ) but it didnt really seem to help that much lol.

Is there somewhere that explains the basic syntax of DB code, and possibly provides a list of commands/functions and what they do?

note: im using DBPro free version.
Thanks in advance

when i first started on DBPro i just pressed F1 in the editor and read all the help files, also if you search in areas like the code snippets board, try the code and try altering it, I find that works aswell.

There use to be an unofficial online help\codebase, but i dont know if that is still up.

Sounds to me as tho you are describing the Help Files (Press F1 as MSon suggests)

Make sure you have updated DBP to the latest version as well (7.5 is the latest), the helpfiles should be updated as well.

Check out the principles section in the help file. Should give you a bit of help there.

Just hit F1, but the way I learned was by reading the examples in the original DarkBasic, so just load the dbpro files(you should have a few projects in your projects folder already their for you) and just read through them and play with them to learn what they do

When I learn a new programming language, I find you can't beat a good book! The 'Hands on DarkBasic Pro' books (available here) are a good starting point.
