Can you post your sister's pc specs like the video card, ram,
operating system, and so forth?

It would be beneficial that we know that information.

Change the resolution as well

Same place add :

width=x
height=x

where you change the x's into the laptop's current resolution width and height.

This problem appeared on my laptop when I used an unsupported resolution.

No I don't think it is. Try installing the latest patch and see if it works. It does tell you when it is starting what version it is.

Hope that helps

The integrated 3150 is normally adjustable in BIOS from something like 8MB to 384MB memory usage. Make sure that the graphics chip is using the maximum available memory.

Quote: "The Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150 or GMA 3150 is an integrated (shared memory) graphics card that is located on the processor package of the Intel Atom N4xx processors. The graphics core is based on a GMA X3100 design (according to Intel) but features only two processor cores clocked at 200 MHz. Therefore, the performance is only a bit better than the old GMA 950 found in many Netbooks with N270 Atom CPUs.

The 3D performance of the GMA 3150 is therefore only suited for some low demanding 3D games in low details. In our tests only the old Quake 3 Arena ran fluently (even with high detail settings). Furthermore, Torchlight ran more or less fluently in 800x600 - low, but Fraps only showed 10fps. More modern low demanding games like Trackmania Nations Forever or Left 4 Dead only showed a slideshow. In our tests with the Dell Mini 1018 many modern games didn't even start."

just to say that FPS creator requies / or need a a openGle or direct X eccelorator that utilisises direct x 9c and need to have the suport of such drivers, i gues your GFX hardware does not suport it

please read the harware spec for running FPD creator.

also i asume you would need a op jL accelorator of version 2 harware suport

i hope this info help, and also as for running an atom proccessor your system CPU if off no suport either, as if your system will not compile direct x Usage.

regards Spudnick

I have the licensed version of FPS Creator. If it has to be patched to version 1.17 then I can only assume the free version does. I would get the same error until updating to 1.17. I have a HP Mini 210-1018Cl netbook. It has the same Intel chipset. The GMA is using 256mb. There is no bios’ setting. The FPS Creator games run a little slow. But they are very playable.

Windows XP Home Premium on a netbook. I am sure he’s using a computer administrator account.

It has nothing to do with Admin rights. FPSC won't run on 8MB video memory.

LOL. You beat me to posting the same thing.

I have not seen 8 MB video memory since the DOS days.

Netbooks are not made for playing games so they will be even less suited for making games. You'll need a proper graphics card, and a pretty decent one, to run FPSC.
