MARBSTICLE COURSE HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

Sorry guys!

How ever, MC is now Open Source!!

This is Marbsticle Course, a 3d marble obstacle course, and it is currently early in dev. I expect it to come out some time in February. I did have some screen shots but for some reason the editor deleted them all when i put in the video link

Here is a video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmODRqcUC4k

Just to keep you guys updated, i will list some progress below. Dont Expect pre-releases to come out until January though

Progress:

Menu made with cool button affects
New game, Level select, and exit buttons given functionality
First level made
Marble movable and jumpable

In progress:

Smoother movements
Level goal integrations
More levels

Well to you who have read this far, thank you

Again, may not reach completion.[href]null[/href]

For us to see screen shots, the images will have to be online. You can attach an image to your post and use the image buttom to show it.

You might want to resize the image so it doesn't stretch the page. 640x480 is a good size. It will help people with slow internet also.

You will want to add a screenshot of actual gameplay since a menu doesn't say much about the game.

Hey guys! Please remember that i need to know whether the marble should roll realistically (take a small time to accelerate, slow down, etc) or if it should only move when the button is pressed and have no momentumy effects. the first option as mentioned would be more realistic, and it would harder to play, but thats how most marble games are. the second option would be easy, but virtually no marble games are like that. Thanks for you support and comments! I also gladly accept any potential ideas for the game

Yeah don't bump WIPs unless you have an update or something. Let people reply naturally and if they aren't then you can take that as feedback.

i think you must design by yourself how your game must be.
maybe too soon for a wip, mate, you are surfing your enthusiasm.

Not to bad! I believe the title menu, or play menu, should be a little softer on the eyes. I feel as if I look into the background long enough a secret message may pop out!

Early screen shot not to bad. Decent looking path, but short level? Good luck with your game!

rem allow user create game with one click
rem create graphics, sound, scripts, models, with one click
rem slap user in face if game choice is mmo

Thanks for your feedback!

What do you think i should change to make the image softer? Most people i know seem to like it, but id be glad to change it

That is the first level, which will be a intro level in a way, and things will be added (powerups, powerdowns, scores, etc.) The later levels should be much bigger and more complex.

Yes, most definitely!
The acceleration and deceleration is key to realistic simulations.
