Bloomin' impossible by the looks of it.

If your thread has disappeared, it's probably because I deleted it. If I deleted it, then it's probably because you...

DID NOT STATE THE VERSION OF DB YOU ARE USING!

Clear?

Please label with:
[DBP] for DBPro
[DBC] for DarkBasic Classic
[GDK] for DarkGDK

If you use plug-ins, then either list the plug-ins (or plug-in set), or add another tag [+Plugins] and list the plug-ins in your post.

Utility plug-ins (26-JUL-2010)

Why is it such a huge issue to display the version in the title?

It's an issue because we can't edit the title after we've posted - I often forget to add the version info till I see the list of threads by which time it's too late.

Reading instructions is not the problem - remembering to follow them BEFORE hitting the Post Message button is, for me at least.

I second that.
I usually spend time writing the actual content. The title isn't that important so I often forget it. Perhaps something like in the Programming Talk board would come in handy. [edit] I meant the select box next to 'subject'.

That sounds like a good idea, provided a dropdown box to select the language before you can submit.

yeah, I would vote for that too. I agree that it's important to distinguish between dbp/dbc (I've tried to run dbc snippets, and spent a while wondering why it wasn't compiling w/ dbpro), but whenever I've posted something without [DBP] in the title, it's because I only remembered after I hit the "Post Message" button.

Examples that an automatic system would need to be able to duplicate in some way:
[DBP]+[Enhan Anim]+[Dark Data]
[DBP]+[Matrix1Utils]
[DBC][DBP][GDK]

Hmm... just as a preventative measure, could you make it so any post without opening and closing right angle brackets would have a reminder error (Like the "PLEASE DON'T POST IN ALL CAPS LOL" message )
