Hi all, I've run into a bit of a problem here. Is there some kind of function that works EXACTLY like set camera to follow, EXCEPT this time, it has a speed parameter for movement speed of the camera? I need to timer base my set camera to follow movement.

Thanks!

Not as far as I'm aware, you will have to code it yourself.

Well, isnt there any way I could tweak Set Camera To Follow's speed?

I guess you could play with the distance parameter so that it can only be at a certain distance depending on how fast the object is moving compared to your cameras speed, if that makes sense.

I've never used the command myself, but I know how I'd investigate it.

First, I'd play to see what effect the smoothing value had, and whether more smoothing slows it down in the way that I require.

If not, then I'd look at affecting the distance parameter using the CURVEVALUE function, providing the current distance between the camera and the object and the required distance, and tweaking the speed value of that. I don't know what the angle parameter does, but it may be necessary to do something similar to that too.

Are there any functions on this site that are similar to what I ask?
