The problem is that the muzzle flash does not overlap the gun (screenshot):

Hey,u have to edit the gunspec of the gun. Go into ur gamecore folder, guns, and in the floder for ur gun youll see a file called gunspec. Open it and under hud muzzleflash position youll see alignx,aligny,alignz. Change the value of these until ur flash is lined up correctly.

That usually happens to me when i delete the crosshair file. So add the crosshair then edit the file and erase the crosshair
