Hey everyone, For days (Ok, more like Hours) I've been searching for a site where you can download and use 3D models in your game for free, alas I found this awesome site that has only 3D models that you can use in your game, i thought it would be a good idea to share it

Dont know if this post should really be on the 3D Chat board, but nice site, all the models seem to be in 3ds format, so you would still need to convert the objects to .x format, but the models do seem small enouth in size to be useful for a DBPro Game.

The first two I tried wouldn't load into DBPro and one would only load after converting it to X format using FragMotion. Both loaded fine in MilkShape and FragMotion - but neither of those packages export properly for every model . It's a shame so many models (not just from that site) seem to be incompatible with so many different bits of software in an unpredictable fashion.

There are also free models available at http://www.turbosquid.com although the free ones are usually not finished, not textured, or someone's first go at modeling.

I agree with the site KIStech has. I have used turbosquid before, and if you just spend about 5 minutes looking. U can find anything.

We have free models (as well as priced models, tutorials, stock photos/images) on our website. The3dStudio.com is one of the oldest and largest 2D and 3D resource sites on the internet so I hope you will check us out.
